This mission uses woodland management areas defined by the Forestry Commission's National Forest Inventory (NFI). Each woodland is divided into individual management units, allowing participants to provide ratings at a finer scale and helping to identify variations in visitor experience across different parts of a woodland.
To complete the mission, select a woodland management area on the map and review the area you have visited. Consider your overall experience and choose the rating that best reflects your impression, ranging from Fantastic to Terrible. Once you have selected your rating, click Submit to record your observation.
You can explore how other participants have rated woodland areas by enabling the Sentiment toggle located in the bottom-left corner of the map. When activated, the map legend will change to display aggregated sentiment scores, allowing you to compare your observations with those submitted by the wider community.
