Revamped Canyons Resort to launch next month
After one of the largest re-creation plans for a ski resort in 20 years, Canyons Resort is due to open on December 10, with new lifts and an improved snowmaking system, giving another reason to check out the skiing action in Utah.
Heavenly gears up for season opening
A recent dusting of snow has meant that Heavenly resort in Lake Tahoe can begin snowmaking in advance of the 2010/11 ski season. The resort is due to open for skiers on November 19, with 73 per cent of the routes being covered by snow cannons over the next three weeks.
