New route opens from Singapore to Pekanbaru

SilkAir, part of Singapore Airlines, today launched its new direct service between Singapore and Pekanbaru, Indonesia. The new thrice-weekly service between Singapore and the capital of the Riau province in Sumatra will provide over 700 seats each week boosting a fledgling tourist industry.
