Is this the weirdest travel gadget yet?

A backpacker has invented a new kind of travel friendly gadget – Pop & Go knickers are the only underwear you can change without taking off your clothes.

Aurora Tyas dreamt up the unusual invention while she was travelling on a night bus in Peru. When she looked down at the filthy floor of the toilet cubicle she shuddered in horror at the thought of how she was going to change her knickers.

So, when she arrived home, Tyas decided to create a pair of knickers that don’t require you to take off any other items of clothing whilst you change them.

They work by using two clips – which simply need to be unfastened at the front in order to remove the underwear.

Tyas commented: “With Pop&Go Knickers you can complete the whole procedure in 40 seconds while standing up, or about 59 if sitting on a seat (and being discrete). And you don’t come out of it feeling filthier than when you started.”

The Pop&Go Knickers have been made from high quality cotton that is breathable, hygienic and long-lasting and are not meant to be disposable.

It remains to be seen whether the quirky new travel gadget will be a hit with backpackers.
