The 2012 Isle of Wight Festival promises to be another sell-out following the success of this year’s event and early birds can get their tickets at the 2011 prices when they go on presale from 30th September.

Next year’s event is also the 10th anniversary of the festival so is sure to be even bigger than usual and Wightlink are also offering ferry-inclusive Festival packages, which will also be on sale for just two weeks from the end of September.

Taking place at Seaclose Park over the weekend of 22-24 June, the festival promises ‘something for rock gods and pop princesses’.

Previous acts to appear include Kings of Leon, Foo Fighters, Kasabian, Manic Street Preachers, Jimi Hendrix, Sex Pistols, Jay-Z and Pink.

From 12 noon on 30th September until 14 October festival goers can book three-day non-camping festival and travel tickets for £168.10 for foot passengers and £244.50 for car and a driver.

Camping inclusive packages are available at £193.10 for foot passengers and £269.50 for a car and driver.

Wightlink Marketing Manager Kerry Jackson said: “Whatever the line-up, the Isle of Wight Festival never fails to disappoint. This two-week presale is a great opportunity for festival goers to grab their tickets early, saving money on both the festival pass and ferry fare, and avoiding any last minute panic next year.”
